How to Prepare for Your Session

For Men:
Please plan to bring a tie. We'll photograph a formal look with your tie on, followed by a more relaxed option without. Wear a well-fitted suit or blazer in a solid, neutral color — navy, charcoal, and grey all photograph beautifully. Avoid busy patterns and bright whites. Make sure your hair is groomed and your facial hair is tidy. A light matte powder can help reduce shine if you tend to photograph oily.

For Women:
Solid colors and simple necklines photograph best. Avoid large logos, busy prints, and sleeveless tops. Light, natural makeup photographs well — avoid anything too heavy or too sheer. Hair should be styled as you would for an important meeting. Simple jewelry works best; large statement pieces can distract from your face.

For Everyone:
Get a good night's sleep before your session. Drink plenty of water. Bring any wardrobe options you're considering and we'll help you choose. Most importantly — relax. We'll guide you through every pose and make sure you leave with a headshot you're proud of.
